ScanSource, Inc., a leading global provider of technology products and solutions, is pleased to announce Vault, a comprehensive new training program designed to help resellers develop network security practices from the ground up, utilizing Cisco® Security solutions. Vault is a component of ScanSource’s unique FASTPATH partner enablement program, which provides instructional materials, in-person and virtual training sessions and valuable resources for resellers to build business, stay ahead of the competition and provide differentiation in their service and support offerings.
“At ScanSource, the success of our reseller partners is always top-of-mind, which is why we’re thrilled to offer another exclusive resource to help our customers accelerate their security practice,” said Brian Cuppett, senior vice president, ScanSource KBZ, which is dedicated to selling Cisco solutions. “In today’s day and age, there’s no question that network security is a key priority, and our Vault training program around Cisco Security will help provide a competitive edge for both resellers and their customers, whether they have an established network security practice or are just getting started.”
Through Vault, resellers will have access to dedicated technical experts who can assist them with their Cisco network security certifications. The program also provides basic knowledge of how to position, sell and use three Cisco Security solutions (Cisco AMP, Cisco Umbrella™ and Cisco NGFW) that have been proven to work synergistically together and enable partners to realize revenue faster. Cisco Security offers are simple, open and automated. Cisco’s integrated security portfolio takes the burden off of IT teams by detecting and remediating security threats faster by delivering effective network security, incident response and heightened IT productivity through automation.
“As the threat landscape evolves, customers must remain vigilant, and embrace integrated security solutions to prevent these threats from impacting their business,” said Andrew Sage, vice president, Cisco Americas Distribution. “We are committed to working with our channel partners to build the competencies and capabilities necessary to help customers keep security threats at bay. ScanSource’s Vault training program enables partners to gain the required knowledge around Cisco’s integrated security architectural approach and build robust network security practices.”
The Vault program also provides tangible next steps to get certified and begin selling products that will help resellers quickly recognize profitable revenue. Resellers can then participate in Cisco’s Fire Jumper Program, which is designed to enable partners to lead customer opportunities within a competency area. With Vault, new security partners can utilize a “stepping stone” approach to building their knowledge base and ramping up their practice with targeted milestones, prior to jumping headfirst into the more product-intensive deep dive that attendees will find with Cisco’s Fire Jumper.
