  • Focus Areas
The ScanSource Charitable Foundation focuses its grant funding directly on underrepresented children, PreK – 12th grade education, and community-based family support.

    Underrepresented Children
    • Nonprofit organizations providing support and services for underrepresented children. We believe that every child—regardless of their background, zip code, or life circumstances—deserves the chance to thrive.

    Pre-K—12th Grade Education
    • Nonprofit organizations supporting transformational education or workforce development programs for underrepresented students or children that advance career skills and talent development from pre-school through high school graduation, especially Title I schools. Examples of this include mentoring and leadership programs, soft skills, work skills development, and teacher support.

    Community-Based Family Support
    • Nonprofit organizations supporting the family unit by providing resources and services that promote well-being and reduce risk factors. Examples include advancing basic needs such as food and clothing security, providing mental and physical health programming, and creating nurturing and healthy family environments.
