ScanSource Recognised by Motorola Solutions
ScanSource® POS and Barcode, a leading pan-European value-added distributor of automatic datacollection, POS and mobility solutions, has been named at recent regional Motorola partner events
Mobility Distributor of the Year in the UK and Wireless Distributor of the Year for Southern Europe for
2012.
ScanSource, the largest distributor of Motorola products in Europe, won the awards in large part as a
result of the work the distributor undertook in 2012 to develop Motorola’s Mobility and Wireless
business, as well as the high levels of service and training options the company provides.

ScanSource recently announced the launch of its Motorola Authorised Training Centre as part of its
education programme ScanSource University. Under this initiative resellers are able to attend training
courses on Motorola Wireless LAN technology and Mobile Computer Devices with a view to attaining
the relevant certification exams required as part of Motorola’s partner programme PartnerEmpower. A
