SCANSOURCE SECURITY ANNOUNCES 2011 IP WORKSHOPS SCHEDULE

(NASDAQ: SCSC), and leading distributor of physical security solutions, has announced the schedule for its 2011 IP Workshops.The one-day training and networking events provide dealers with an introduction to IP Network infrastructure and the fundamentals of network-based video surveillance solutions during classroom sessions and vendor presentations. What’s more, the latest products, solutions and programs available from the industry’s leading manufacturers are on display at an evening reception and expo sponsored by more than 20 ScanSource Security manufacturer partners. Dealers can attend the entire workshop or only the sessions that fit their business’ needs.
In addition, dealers who attend all training segments will earn up to six BICSI continuing education credits, which help them to document professional development activities, as well as demonstrate their commitment to staying abreast of developments in a rapidly changing industry. BICSI is a professional association supporting the information technology systems industry.
