CATALYST TELECOM RECEIVES AVAYA CONNECT CERTIFICATION

GREENVILLE, SC - March 28, 2011 - Catalyst Telecom®, a sales unit of ScanSource®, Inc. {NASDAQ: SCSC}, and value-added distributor of voice, video and data convergence solutions, is the first distributor to become fully compliant in the Avaya Connect Distribution program. The worldwide program is designed to support channel growth for distributors and their reseller partners. By meeting the requirements, distributors receive access to financial, technical and sales programs that can help them better support their reseller partners.

Catalyst Telecom greatly exceeded its requirements for the program in both Data and Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) solutions, receiving 94 sales certifications (program minimum 16) and 20 design and technical support certifications (program minimum eight). In addition, Catalyst Telecom currently holds three times the required Avaya Professional Sales Specialist Enterprise certifications and five times the required Avaya Professional Design Specialist Enterprise certifications.

Avaya created the program to strengthen partner relationships, leading to new business opportunities for resellers and enhanced customer engagement.
