CATALYST TELECOM ENHANCES COMMEDGE PROGRAM FOR 2009

GREENVILLE, SC - February 25, 2009 - Catalyst Telecom, a sales unit of ScanSource, Inc. {NASDAQ: SCSC}, and value-added distributor of voice, video and data convergence solutions, has announced plans for its 2009 CommEdge Road Shows, an integral part of its comprehensive CommEdge program, as well as the addition of a well-known channel advocate as a training partner.

CommEdge was created to provide cutting-edge training, education, support, marketing and sales tools for successfully selling convergence technologies through consultative support, a robust web site, as well as comprehensive CommEdge Road Shows, which take in-depth training and education sessions on the road for dealers. The Road Show will feature three tracks that enable dealers to take a deeper dive into new technologies, as well as learn more about new communications manufacturers and the opportunities available.
Providing the keynote for the CommEdge Road Shows is Jim Sevier, president of Convergence Readiness, Inc. Sevier brings more than two decades of communications technology experience to Catalyst Telecom’s dealer partners. At the CommEdge Road Show, Sevier will discuss business opportunities available in 2009, as well as ways dealers can take advantage of these opportunities in a difficult economy.

In addition to the informative keynote session, the three tracks will cover how to accelerate growth with converged networking applications, how to generate additional revenue with voice communication solutions, and how to succeed in SMB.
