ScanSource Named One of South Carolina’s Best Places to Work for Ninth Consecutive Year

ScanSource, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCSC), a leading hybrid distributor connecting devices to the cloud, was recently named one of the 2023 Best Places to Work in South Carolina, marking the ninth consecutive year the Company has received the recognition. The award was created by SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group. 

Best Places to Work in South Carolina is a research-driven program that examines a company’s best practices, programs, benefits and employee perspectives.

To be considered for participation, companies meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Must be in business a minimum of one year
• Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or a government entity
• Be a publicly or privately held business
• Have a facility in the state of South Carolina
• Have a minimum of 15 full-time or part-time employees working in South Carolina

Companies across the state participated in the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. First, companies were evaluated based on the company’s best practices, company policies and demographics. The second component consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
